This course addresses the challenges associated with dental implant placement in the maxillary posterior edentulous region, such as sinus cavity pneumatization and thin bone patterns due to resorption. The course discusses various techniques to overcome these issues, including sinus grafting procedures, guided bone regeneration techniques/materials, and ridge expansion/splitting. The course also focuses on bone grafting procedures involving the maxillary sinus, including internal or external augmentation, and new surgical techniques and materials.
The course aims to provide theoretical background and step-by-step surgical guidelines using state-of-the-art grafting materials, instrumentation, and growth factors.
The purpose of this course is to give the theoretical background for these procedures as well as the step-by-step surgical guidelines using state-of-the-art grafting materials, instrumentation and utilization of growth factors.
This course tackles the complexities related to dental implant placement in the edentulous maxillary posterior region, addressing challenges like sinus cavity pneumatization and thin bone patterns resulting from resorption..
The course is designed to furnish participants with a theoretical foundation and detailed surgical guidelines, utilizing cutting-edge grafting materials, instrumentation, and growth factors.
⚪ Diagnosis and treatment planning for the rehabilitation of the posterior maxilla
⚪ Evaluate surgical approaches and techniques for sinus lift and horizontal augmentation of the posterior maxilla
⚪ Comprehend different grafting materials for guided bone regeneration
⚪ Understand the use of advanced surgical instrumentation such as Piezosurgery & Crestal/Lateral Sinus Drill kits for sinus access (DASK KIT)
⚪ Osseo densification: Step-by-step protocol for internal sinus lift
⚪ Armamentarium needed to perform these procedures, including surgical kits for bone and sinus, as well as expansion drills (Densah burs)
⚪ Learn how to utilize autologous growth factors
HANDS-ON SESSIONS:
Osseo densification & lateral and crestal approach
RE-LIVE cases - presentation and discussions
Q&A sessions
